On September 21, we celebrate the birthday of our Mother Foundress, Venerable María del Refugio. As we celebrate her birthday, we encourage you to get to know the beautiful story of her life as wife, mother, and then foundress of our Institute. A Prayer for our Mother Foundress’ intercession:
Lord, grant us the grace to see your servant, María del Refugio, raised to sainthood, who in order to satisfy her heart’s desire founded this Congregation destined to spread the love of the Blessed Sacrament through the Christian education of children and youth. Grant us through her intercession the grace that we ask for (state petition) we pray in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
