It’s alright if you do not know how to respond when your daughter announces she’s discerning life as a religious sister. Many families struggle with this often trying but exciting process.
We invite you to join us for out Hesed Parent Night where Sr. Trinity, HMSS, and her parents will share the story of their experience and discuss the joys and challenges they’ve faced answering God’s call.
You Will Gain:
A deeper understanding of the process of discernment
An opportunity to talk with other parents going through the same thing
Each Night Consists Of:
- 30-minute talk
- 30-minute Q&A with the guest speaker
- 30-minute small-group time with other young women
Meet Sr. Kathryne of the Holy Trinity, HMSS
Sr. Trinity grew up moving around a lot being in a Navy family. After having a significant encounter with the Lord while in college, she resolved to give her life to Him. Following a lot of prayerful discernment, that commitment led her to join the Mercedarian Sisters in 2015.
Her parents now live in Florida. They spend their time making delicious Filipino food for the community and sharing the joy of the Lord with all those around them.
