Movies and music nowadays seem to portray the physical expression of love as the only possible manifestation of love. But the love we truly desire goes deeper than our senses. A relationship with God is far more intimate than any physical relationship we could ever have.
Jen Settle, a consecrated virgin and expert in Theology of the Body, will explain how this intimacy can be lived out in the celibate life.
Jen has been a part of the Theology of the Body Institute since 2008. She currently serves as the director of ongoing formation. In 2017, Jen became a consecrated virgin. The Theology of the Body played an integral role in her vocational discernment.
Jen received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in theology and parish ministry from Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa. She completed the Spiritual Direction Certificate Program at Divine Mercy University and offers spiritual direction for TOBI’s immersion courses. She is also the co-author of the book “Consecration to Jesus through Saint Joseph: An Integrated Look at the Holy Family.”
